What kind of images are available for purchase in the Art Mart and how are the organized?
A broad range of professional medical illustrations from different anatomic areas are available for purchase. You can choose from 4-color illustrations to simple black and white line art. Illustrations are organized by anatomic region and by surgical technique. The Art Mart also features a library of cadaver photographs that are available for purchase. These are organized by anatomic region.

How often are new images added?
New images are added monthly.

Is it possible to request images that are not currently available online?
Yes. Contact us at artmart@qmp.com and let us know what you are looking for.

How do I update my account information?
After logging in, click the "My Account" button in the top navigation bar. All your information will appear in an editable version. Click "Save" after making updates.

What is the lightbox and how does it work?
The lightbox is a place where you can store images that you are interested in but have not yet decided to purchase. To add images to your light box, click on the "Add to Light Box" icon directly under the image and choose the resolution that fits your needs. When you are ready to make a purchase you can buy a single image or choose multiple images in your lightbox. Note that you have the option of printing the contents of your lightbox for your reference.

How do I purchase an image?
When you see an image you would like to purchase, click the "Shopping Cart" icon below the image, choose the resolution you need, and click the "Checkout" button. If you are not ready to check out, you can continue to browse. Simply click the "View Cart" button in the top navigation bar when you are ready to checkout. Note that you will need to read and accept the License Agreement before entering your credit card information and completing your purchase.

Can I purchase artwork in bulk quantities?
If you wish to purchase a number of images, e-mail us at artmart@qmp.com to discuss possible quantity discounts.

What's the difference between file sizes?
The file sizes have been optimized for use on the Web (72 dpi), for use in PowerPoint or Keynote presentations (150 dpi), or for use in print publications (300 dpi). Note that images whose resolutions are 72 and 150 dpi are at a size that is far too low for print production.

What format are the files in?
To reduce file size when transmitting images via the web, all images downloaded from the Art Mart are provided in .jpg format.

Are all images in the Art Mart copyrighted? Do I have to provide a credit line when publishing them?
Yes, all images in the Art Mart are copyrighted by QMP, and you must provide an appropriate credit line with the image when publishing or displaying them. Credit lines should be placed with the image and should include the following information:

Will watermarks & copyright information stay on the images after I purchase them?
The copyright information stays with each image, and this cannot be removed (see License Agreement). The watermark will remain on the image only if you choose to purchase a watermarked version. Otherwise the image that will be available for download will be clean.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

How will I receive the images I have purchased?
After your payment is processed, a link for downloading each image be included with your payment confirmation. These links will also be emailed to you for future reference.

What if I need to cancel my order?
Your purchase can be canceled any time before your payment is processed. After this point your order cannot be reversed. You have 24 hours after your purchase, however, to exchange the image(s) you purchased for another image(s) of equal or greater value. Contact us at artmart@qmp.com or call us at 1-314-878-7808 to notify us that you would like to make an exchange. After the exchange is made, you will need to delete (destroy) all copies of the original purchase from your files. You may be asked to verify this in writing.

If I choose to purchase an image, are there limitations for using the image?
Yes. All limitations are fully outlined in the License Agreement. The agreement includes information on how and where the image can be used, how many images can be used in one publication, and how many licenses must be purchased for publications with print runs over 10,000 copies. Restrictions on modifying images and prohibited uses are also outlined in detail.

What are my responsibilities as a licensee?
The License Agreement outlines additional responsibilities such as how images must be credited and where to send sample publications that include QMP content.
